This month’s late night revelry at London’s Science Museum focuses on the science of food and drink.
Head there from 18:45 to 22:00 on Wednesday 28th August to sample ice cream made with liquid nitrogen right before your eyes, as well as discovering which foods are the sexiest: why do some have aphrodisiac effects?
Also present will be Rentokil’s “Pestaurant”, a buffet of edible ants, crickets and scorpions not for the faint hearted. Pest control experts will be happy to answer any questions you might have while you eat, if that’s your bag.
If all that makes you thirsty, there will also be cocktail-making masterclasses, as well as an opportunity to brew your own fiery ginger beer.
As always, Lates staples like the silent disco, pub quizzes and speed dating will all be present too.
So if you find yourself feeling peckish on Wednesday evening, make your way to the Science Museum for a free meal and a great, adults-only night out.
Lates with Mastercard at the Science Museum are on the last Wednesday of every month and are free for adults to attend with no booking required. For more information, visit www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/lates.
